Edited: After applying some suede protector, and wearing these a few times a week, they're holding up great and i get a lot of compliments on them. With the metatarsal pad in them, they are SO comfortable.Honestly. I started to send these back because the "suede" wasn't perfect but then I reminded myself that I paid $27.00 for them. (I see the prices has jumped since then!) My foot slipped in them a bit when I first wore them, irritated my legs around the top of the bootie. I then placed some non-slip pads in to keep the ball of my foot from slipping and voila! Problem solved. These are EXTREMELY comfortable and cute so I came back for a black pair also they cost than twice what I paid for the original pair. I see that the same shoe is retailing for $109 at Macys and Nieman Marcus.
