So cozy. I wore this set all day. I was dry and warm. I decided to sleep in in also. It was the same. Dry and warm. Not hot. Not sweaty. I was worried it might be a little itchy at first but it was not. The pants stayed up and in place all day. The shirt was fitted without being too tight. I will definitely buy more.I bought this because I had read an article that said, "Adults who wore Merino wool pajamas slept more soundly than those wearing other fabrics". I decided to give it a try and was very surprised at the results. The breathable material kept me from overheating. It worked so well, I decided to buy the heavier weight for winter. I love the long sleeves!The socks were a nice added bonus.These are soft and not scratchy at all. I bought them specifically for camping and sleeping at temps below 45 degrees, and between the 25 degree bag, fleece liner, and these base layers I stayed cozy. my only complaing is that the crotch gusset makes it look like I have a package, so not cute to just wear around in the morning, and I wish they were slightly higher waisted.This is perfect for winter and I’m so happy I bought this set. It’s soo warm and it came with socks!Wash before wearing, it makes the set even softer!Love this merino wool base layer. Very soft and comfortable. Fits great. I have several pieces.I wash by hand, which means a 15 min soak in any wool wash or shampoo diluted in a gallon of warm water.Swish and squeeze the item. Squeeze out soap, let sit in clear cool water (1 gal). Swish it around until it doesn't feel soapy. Squeeze (do not wring) item. Air dry.So I bought this set expecting a soft merino wool. I found the fibres for itch and I’m not very sensitive to wool so was quite surprised. I will wash and see if this helps. Happy there is a 60 day refund policy if it doesn’t work out so stay tuned. Love the style and fit otherwise. I did size up expecting it could shrink a little after washing. I’m normally a medium but went for a large and this set fits great with room to grow or shrink. Much cheaper to buy a set than individual pieces. Hoping washing does the trick to make it less irritating to the skin.I've bought this one for my Wife. Amazing base layer - it's warmer, lighter and more comfortable then "Specialized" big brands, which cost 2-3 times more! I've bought 4 sets for all family members.
