I wear an 11WW. I have hammer toes on both feet with bunions. No, I don't have to get them surgically repaired when I can wear boots like these. I just got them yesterday (Monday), have them on today (Tuesday), and I am really happy. They are leather, their toe box is high enough to accommodate my twisted toes, and they feel great. I'm not used to wearing such high heels (2 inches) all day lately but I figure what the heck? I'll keep on till I get used to that height again. They are really cute. I plan to get the metal tip on the heels so they won't wear down and work these babies all winter. They are absolutely comfortable, just a little high in the heel for me. I'll keep wearing till I get used to that height again.The star rating is based on the service, not the boots themselves. In fact, I LOVE the boots. I wish the website had explained the sizing better. The size I ordered was too big, so I had to return the boots. Although I love amazon.com for ordering items, I will never use it again for clothing/shoes because of the return hassle. I got a great promo deal at the time I ordered these boots, but lost out when I had to return them. I was charged for the return (which is why I will use Zappos - free shipping both ways - in the future for shoe purchases), the order took a long time to arrive, and my promotional deal was negated. The boots themselves were nice (although the wrong size for me) and the price on amazon.com beat any other price I was able to find online. When my package arrived, the shoebox inside was smashed, but it did not affect the boots themselves. Overall, I would have been satisfied if I did not have to pay for return shipping & could just replace the size & still benefit from the promotion at the time I ordered. But since that was not the case, I would have to say I am NOT satisfied with my purchase. On the positive side, there was nothing wrong or disappointing about the boots.Since I consider my feet wide, I thought the 6.5 B size won't fit. Luckily, it did! The boots fit like a glove (cannot think of a comparison). My husband also thought that I might not be able to walk well because of the heel (I only wear up to 1" heel) but surprisingly, I did not have to break it in that much. I have been using it for a week now and it's comfortable.I wear this boot to work and on weekends. Very comfortable and just the right heel height. I wear an WW shoe and it is very difficult to find a nice looking boot in that size. The leather is soft and the color ( grey ) is perfect.After visiting several retail shops and a few purchases I ordered this one. Turned out to be the most comfortable shoes for those heels. Luckily they were on sale otherwise I did not have that kind of budget.I have a difficult foot to fit, as I have a narrow foot, and the David Tate ankle boot, which I recently bought, was great!! It is true to size. I wore it, for the first time, running around the airport on my way up North for Christmas. I was very pleased at the look, feel and comfort. I would buy more and highly recommend it.Its really cute. Quite comfortable. However the side zipper is not smooth. I have a feeling it wont last long, which is why I am holding back one star. Otherwise its great. Sizing was perfect.I wore the boots to church today. As I expected they are a little wider than my feet. I have extremely narrow feet. These fitas well as I expected if not better.They are very well made, comfortable, and attractive. I think I will get a lot of wear and feel good about the purchase.
